Welcome to GhostRoom. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use GhostRoom. By using this service, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and meet the foregoing eligibility requirements. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the site.

2. Description of Service

GhostRoom is a platform that randomly pairs users for one-on-one text-based chat sessions. We do not monitor, record, or store the contents of your messages once a room has ended. Your anonymity is maintained through temporary session IDs.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to use GhostRoom to:

  • Share, transmit, or promote any illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
  • Share the personal information (doxxing) of others.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the matchmaking queue.
  • Distribute malware, spam, or phishing links.

4. Community Moderation and Bans

GhostRoom operates on a community-driven reporting system (the "5-Strike System"). If multiple unique users report your behavior, you will be automatically and temporarily banned from accessing the matchmaking network. We reserve the right to permanently ban any user for violating these Terms.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. GhostRoom makes no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You use the service at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GhostRoom and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, or any conduct or content of any third party on the service.
